Ghosts

Through rough times and sad decisions, life to Maya is still the best it could be.  Maya is an 8 year old girl that loves and wants to go on adventures in her new town of Baîa de la Luna. A place she moved to in order to help her lung problem. Maya tries and tries her best to do what she loves even though it’s too much for her lungs, but not for her spirit. Cat, her 11 year old sister, despised moving to Baîa de La Luna. That is, until she warms up to it and starts to believe in ghosts and see them. Their new neighbor, Carlos takes them on risky adventures that turn into the best times, until the unthinkable happens. That’s when hearts are broken. Readers will find this realistic, yet it’s a fiction story. Raina, the author also writes outstanding comic books of her childhood. Verdict: This book has lots of twists and turns that will make you want to read all her books. It appears that this book is for teenage girls but boys might love it too. This book is number one on my list and I hope it’s on yours!
