Throughout the series, we follow John Smith (Number Four) all over the world with his
Mentor Cêpan Henri and his Chimera, Bernie Kosar to escape the Mogadorians. One day, Four and Henri end up in Paradise City where Four meets his newfound best friend, Sam Goode, but that’s part of the first book (which you should also read). In between book one and book seven, Four finds the rest of the Garde and attempts to win the war. At the end of book seven, Earth is pretty much destroyed, there are no Cêpans and only a few of the Garde are left.
Everyone who reads this book will find that Pittacus Lore has a way of keeping you on the edge of your seat. After every chapter, he finds a way to leave you on a cliff hanger. He also switches the Garde you are following which adds to the suspense of each page. It is mezmorizing how Pittacus Lore brings you into the magically mythical world of his characters. Everyone who takes an interest in inter galactic adventures should read these books!
